Congratulations to Adam Fields – 4th at the World Cup competition in Liuzhou, China.

The U.S. Wakeboard Team earned the silver medal and four U.S. team members earned individual medals at the 8th IWWF Wakeboard World Championships, Aug. 26-29, at Lake Uiam in Chuncheon, Korea.

Wakeboarding on the other side of the world was unreal. I can’t believe in 50 years I’ll be telling my grandkids that we flew into South Korea to compete in theIWWF World Wakeboard Championships when tensions with North Korea were at their height!

Third time was the charm for North Carolina native Adam Fields at Board Up Miami, South Florida’s premiere wakeboard festival April 23-25, 2009 in Miami, FL.

Adam Fields won the Open Mens Division of the 2009 World Wakeboarding Championships in Chuncheon City, Korea.
Adam, a Southern Ski Boats & Epic Team Rider, won all preliminary heats going into the finals.
